11 CALLING all golfers to join Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Centre on their golf day, Tee for Two on April 11, at the Reading Country Club. The format for the day is a betterball Stableford at R2 000 per four-ball which includes R40 halfway voucher and prize-giving dinner. Tee times are from 10am to 12.16pm. 1 JOIN Brackendowns Baptist Church on May 1 for a 3km to 5km walk in aid of Stepping Stone Hospice and the Cancer Association, the church’s chosen beneficiaries. There will be food stalls and jumping castles. Registration starts at 7am and the walk starts at 8am. Walkers are required to register for R100. 8 STEPFAMILY enrichment course will provide practical, realistic solutions to issues that stepfamilies face. This course will help couples who are married, soon-to-be-married or living together and dating couples with children from a previous relationship. It is presented by Ron L Deal, who is a world-leading expert in the field of stepfamily enrichment and is facilitated by members of the Alberton Methodist Church who have successfully raised stepchildren. The course will be hosted at Alberton Methodist Church every Wednesday from May 8 to June 19 from 7pm to 9pm. 20 SAVE the date! Känguru’s annual fun run/walk will be on July 20. Get your family and friends together and come and join us on this day. Run/walk starts at 8am at Känguru Foundation, 43 Garthview Raod, Kliprivier. Tea and coffee available to fight off the morning chill. Food and drinks will be sold.
