One killed, one airlifted in Bluff crash

Advanced life support methods were used to stabilise the critically injured motorcyclist.

A PEDESTRIAN has been killed while a motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital following an accident in Bluff Road, at about midday, today.
Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene of a collision, where a man, believed to be in his 40s, was declared dead on arrival of paramedics.

A male motorcyclist in his 20s was found in a critical condition and several advanced life support intervention was needed to stabilise him before he was airlifted by the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter to a specialist facility for further medical care.
