Sleep disturbed by 1am angle grinding
This work is being done seven days a week 24 hours of the day.
EDITOR – I live in Keston Crescent on the Bluff and for the last four months, have had my sleep disturbed almost every night by construction work being done at Island View Storage facility.

I can accept that work being carried out is noisy if it is kept to reasonable hours, but almost every evening and night it is quiet and then the banging and angle grinding starts between 1am and 2am and continues until about 5am when it is quiet again.
I would like to know what I can do to resolve this. Is there any way to contact the site manager or someone involved with this project and get them to carry out the ‘noisy’ work during reasonable times? I am not sure if anyone else has complained but I am sure that other residents from Marlborough Park and Fynnlands are affected.
