Cheryl Rusk, member of the association, said the call to clean up the area was due to constant illegal dumping.

“Illegal dumping is not only making the area look untidy, but it is also a major health hazard,” she said.

Rusk said that illegal dumping has become quite a nuisance in the area and called on residents to report anyone caught doing so. She added that you can contact Sheila Philogene on 079 941 7499 and she will ensure it is escalated to the relevant authorities.

Rusk also expressed her thanks to Durban South Security and MetPac-SA for their support.
