Chipstead Ave property under threat from landslide

EDITOR – I just thought I would give you a follow-up of the landslide that you reported about on 7 February.

It happened outside my home and I am very worried. The municipality came out and repaired the water pipe but so far, nothing else has been fixed.

The road and sand has been falling off in pieces all the time. My wall foundations have been exposed and cracks have appeared in my wall.

I am not insured at the moment and my pool is right next to the wall. If this collapses I have a major problem, yet the municipality does not seem concerned. If this collapses, it is going to cost them a lot more than it will if they come out and repair the road immediately. I have reported it twice now to the engineering department.
