Transnet pensioners look forward to class action court case

The senior advocate of the firm of lawyers Geyser and Coetzee representing the 70,000 Transnet pensioners.

EDITOR – Transnet pensioners will be pleased to know that all the heads of argument of the respondents (Transnet etc) have been lodged with the High Court.

The senior advocate of the firm of lawyers Geyser and Coetzee representing the 70,000 Transnet pensioners, is currently engaging with the Deputy Judge-President of the North Gauteng Court to establish an appropriate court date.

It has been a long and laborious road to reach this vital point, however pensioners believe that justice is around the corner in what will go down in history as the largest class action suit in South Africa of nearly R80-billion.

Transnet pensioners have rallied together in support of this action and are confident that with God on their side and as in the scriptures, David will triumph over Goliath.
