Sing-along rounds off sad farewell at Montclair seniors club

The club hopes those suffering from winter ills will be better soon and be able to join in at next month's meeting on 14 August.

MONTCLAIR Senior Citizens Club sadly bade farewell to members Moira Bezuidenhout and Victoria Singh at this month’s meeting, as both are moving away from the area.

Roy Smith conducted devotions and asked members if they were hearing God in this world characterised by noise and business.

Members wished the birthday month folk well on their special day and congratulated the competition winners.

Angela, Colin and Jessica shared funny stories with everyone.

The club hopes those suffering from winter ills will be better soon and be able to join in at next month’s meeting on 14 August. Members missed those who were absent at this month’s meeting.

After a lovely tea, seniors were entertained by the Stainbank WI choir who not only sang well-loved Irish and Scottish songs, but handed out song sheets so that everyone could join in for a sing-along, all of which was most enjoyable.
