Teen represents KZN in two national competitions
Bluffite shows his skills in two national competitions.
BRAINY Bluffite, Sashin Chetty represented KZN in two national competitions this week, displaying his mathematical prowess and knowledge of history.
The 15-year-old Glenwood High School pupil started his national tour with the Department of Education’s National Nkosi Albert Luthuli oral history competition from 3 to 6 October in Pretoria. He was selected for the competition for his examination of the history of education in South Africa.
Following the history competition, Chetty competed in the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists national competition in Gauteng from 7 to 10 October, where he will demonstrate the original solution he formulated for finding the square root of negative numbers.
The grade 10 pupil, who enjoys online gaming and squash in his spare time hopes to study electronic engineering when he finishes school.
