Montclair Seniors Club royally entertained by Tafta Revellers
Naomi welcomed everyone and thanked all for braving the inclement weather.

MONTCLAIR Senior Citizens Club on Thursday, 9 October enjoyed a lovely morning of being entertained by the lively Tafta Revellers.
As many of these folk had been brought by the Tafta combi from the beach front and had arrived very early and were being fetched again by 11.30am, the club altered its usual meeting schedule a little to accommodate their transport timetable.
Naomi welcomed everyone and thanked all for braving the inclement weather. Mervyn Singh opened with devotions, then they had an early tea before the entertainers went on with their performance.
Whoever said that old age was boring? This group are certainly to be admired for their talent, fitness and sense of fun. They delighted everyone with an hour of jokes, skits, song and dance. What a talented group of young-at-heart oldies – everybody loved them.
After the performance, the meeting continued with birthday wishes for the month, the lucky draws and a few notices.
All members are to note that the date has changed for the next meeting to 6 November, as the community pensioners lunch at Yellowwood Park is on the normal date of 13 November.
A reminder that Montclair Junior Primary School’s children will be entertaining, so join the club at 9am for 9.30am at the Methodist Church hall.
