More businesses reached in police’s pre-festive season campaign
Police and security company step up their crime awareness campaign.
MORE businesses were targeted by Brighton Beach SAP’s business against crime initiative as the station moves into its second phase of the festive season strategy.
ADT Security Service joined forces with the police to encourage safety measures at local businesses as part of the SAP national strategy for the 2014/15 festive season.
Fuel stations, butcheries, liquor outlets, second hand goods outlets and businesses in malls were given the business against crime booklet developed by communications officer, Captain Louise Le Roux.
“Emphasis was placed on the three second use of panic alarm systems, regular testing of security features such as CCTV cameras and panic alarm systems and screening of employees whose actions constitute cause for concern,” said Capt Le Roux.
Brighton Beach SAP management thanks business owners, managers and supervisors who participated and ADT reaction officer Oscar Masondo, who worked with Capt Le Roux.
