SATURDAY, 7 FEBRUARY: Great new year jumble sale at Arcadia Old Age Home (opposite Marlborough Park School) in Peacehaven Place, Bluff from 8am. Go and grab some bargains and help Arcadia to raise sufficient money to fund outings for its tenants this year.
THURSDAY, 12 FEBRUARY: KwaZulu-Natal branch of the South African Military History Society meets at 7pm for 7.30pm. The venue will be the Murray Lecture Theatre, Department of Civil Engineering, UKZN Howard College campus. The speakers are Roy Bowman on ‘The Battle of Santa Cruz, 25 October, 1942’ and Dr Alex Coutts on ‘Shaka – his military career’.
