Natalia turns 30

NATALIA Garden Club will celebrate its 30th birthday on Thursday, 9 April with the cutting of a cake by honorary member Beryl Coetzee.
The AGM in March was well attended with three new members Beryl Smale, Penny Kuik and Jeanette Nienaber who joined.
The club also welcomed Marlene and Russell Jones onto the committee. The plant sale will take place at the April meeting. Members are asked to take sandwich fillings in May and June towards the Bluff school’s sandwich ministry.
Speaker for the April meeting on the topic water-wise gardening will be Pieter du Plessis.
Competitions will include decorative, a floral Easter arrangement with accessories; cultural, a yellow flower or spray; best bloom or spray, orchid, pot plant from my garden.
