Pupil stabbed with scissors
The principal expressed disappointment that a pupil had been stabbed at the school.

A pupil at Khulangolwazi School was stabbed by his friend on Thursday, 14 May.
The incident happened at about 11am during break time.
The two boys involved in the incident are best friends and while playing, they argued and one of them was stabbed with a pair of scissors.
Khulangolwazi School principal Sahara Jagath says the school has a zero tolerance for misbehaviour. “The police were called by the educator on break duty and the injured pupil was taken to Clairwood Hospital. Processes are being followed according to the school’s code of conduct. The pupil who was stabbed and their parents have been addressed. The matter has been amicably resolved,” she said. Jagath would not reveal the children’s age or grade.
Jagath says the school has a close relationship with Montclair SAPS. The principal expressed disappointment that a pupil had been stabbed at the school. “We are going to put measures in place to ensure these incidents don’t recur in future,” she said.
