SATURDAY, 18 JULY: Dubai International Super Cup winners 2011 and 2013/2014 SAB League champions, the Young Cavaliers FC from the Durban South Basin, host a fundraising dance at Fairvale School hall in Wentworth from 6pm. SATURDAY, 20 JUNE: South African Writers Circle meets in Durban North in celebration of Short Story Day Africa. The meeting is at The Rock Church Church hall, 1 Tamarind Close, Sunningdale, Durban North at 11am. There will be an interactive presentation and short story elements will be discussed. A workshop will follow where members and non-members will apply their writing skills on the topic of ‘water’. Non-members are welcome. Take along a plate of snacks. Members R10, non-members R20.
