‘Trolley-preneurs’ thanked on Mandela Day.

IN the spirit of Mandela Day, ‘trolley-preneurs’ were thanked by a local recycling plant for their service to the community on Friday, 17 July.

Mpact Recycling’s Maydon Wharf office gathered together to provide hot soup, bread and beanies to local people who collect trash from the streets for recycling.

Theo Sodalay spoke fondly of these ‘trolley-preneurs’ who help keep local communities clean and reduce the amount of refuse reaching landfills.

The annual soup kitchen allowed these recyclers, many of whom live on the street, to get a meal and a thank-you from the staff at the recycling plant.
