Hikers to blaze a new trail this weekend

DURBAN Ramblers Hiking Club starts August with a new hike for its Saturday hikers this weekend.
Hikers will venture to Glenholme Nature Reserve in Kloof.

Hikers are to meet at Kloof and Highway SPCA parking lot at 1.45pm to hike through the reserve and into the valley. There is a R20 donation towards the upkeep of the reserve.
This outing is graded three, moderate to strenuous.
On Sunday, 2 August members will hike to Umhlanga estuary, Umhlanga Rocks. Call hike leader Jenny Rooks on 084-952-0622.
Meet at 7.45am in the parking area of the nature reserve next to Breakers Hotel, at the end of Lagoon Drive in Umhlanga Rocks for an 8am start.
Hikers will spend the day exploring the Umhlanga estuary in a 16km outing which is graded 2/3, moderate.
