Girl pupils enjoy Women’s Day high tea

The 133 pupils were presented with wonderful goodie bags made possible through sponsorships.

CLAIRWOOD Secondary School hosted a dignified Women’s Day function on Monday, 3 August.

To commemorate this day and to celebrate ‘being a woman’, the grade 12 girl pupils were treated to a high tea at the school hall.

The guest speakers were Kanchana Moodliar, a motivational speaker, yoga practitioner and founder of the NPO ‘Saries for Good Karma’ and Sabrina Maingard, a fashion nanny who provided interesting tips with regard to fashion and etiquette.

The 133 pupils were presented with wonderful goodie bags made possible through sponsorships. Co-ordinator, Pravitha Naidoo said the function was a huge success and Clairwood Secondary School hopes to host this as an annual event.
