A biker was seriously injured after a collision involving three cars and a bike outside 1196 Bluff Road just after 7am this morning (Thursday, 8 October).
Rescue Care Paramedics found a bike and three cars had been involved in a collision, in which the bike driver sustained serious injuries. Advanced life support intervention was needed to stabilise him before he was transported to a nearby hospital. One of the car drivers sustained minor injuries and was also taken to hospital. While the cause of the crash is unclear, it is alleged a vehicle exiting the side road initially collided with the biker, who then lost control of his bike.
SAPS attended the scene and will investigate further.
