THURSDAY, 10 MARCH: KZN branch of the SA Military History Society meets at 7pm for 7.30pm at the Murray Lecture Theatre, Department of Civil Engineering, University of KZN Howard College campus. Roy Bowman will speak on ‘PT boats at Guadalcanal’ and Robin Smith on ‘General Christiaan de Wet at Bothaville’. Visitors are welcome to attend. SATURDAY, 12 MARCH: A presentation on gluten sensitivity, what it is and could you be a sufferer will be held on at Westville library room G1 at 10am to 11am or 2pm to 3pm. The seminar is at a cost of R30 or R20 for pensioners. Those who suffer with chest complaints/sinusitis, arthritis, bowel disorder, anaemia, osteoporosis, neurological disorders, autoimmune disorder and ADD should attend. FRIDAY, 1 APRIL: A fundraising dance in aid of Wentworth Angels takes place at 47th Avenue Nite Club in Springfield Park themed ‘memory lane and nostalgia’ from 9pm until 6am. Patrons will be entertained by DJ Preggie, Dr Alan and the legendary DJ Trevor Williams.
