Five hurt in Friday crashes

FIVE people were injured in accidents on Friday night, 30 September in South Durban.

According to Rescue Care operations director, Garrith Jamieson, their paramedics responded to both scenes.

The first accident was between two vehicles at about 8pm on Solomon Mahlangu Drive (Edwin Swales VC) near the M4 onramp. Two people were hurt and taken to hospital.

In a second collision three people were injured, including a pregnant woman, at the intersection of Tara Road and Quality Street. At about 9.30pm, two vehicles crashed into one another, with one coming to rest on a sidewalk.

The causes of the accidents are not known.
