SDCEA to host public meeting

Hear about the plans for Clairwood.

WORKING towards a Clairwood that benefits residents, businesses and historical significance, a public meeting will be held to gather information and express concerns.

The South Durban Community Environmental Alliance (SDCEA) in partnership with the Clairwood Ratepayers and Residents Association (CRRA) hosts a public meeting on Wednesday, 22 March at the Clairwood Tamil Institute from 6pm to 8pm.

Residents will meet to voice concerns about trucking, illegal businesses, crime, pollution, illegal dumping, poor service delivery, force removals and intimidation. Paramount is the question of conservation and development of schools, small businesses, religious institutions and historical and cultural sites.

eThekwini Municipality’s head of economic development and investment promotion, Shunnon Tulsiram has been invited to attend and answer questions posed by the residents.
