Local business adds splash of life to Burger Road flats
The company donated four 40-litre containers of paint.
RESIDENTS living in the Burger Road flats in Wentworth received four 40-litre containers of paint on Wednesday, 31 May to refurbish the walls.
Steven Govender, director at D&M Engineering together with staff members visited the residents and was welcomed by flat representative, Gwendolin Bouvrie.

According to Bouvrie, the Burgers Road flats are run down and needed a new coat of paint.

“The residents who live here are mostly pensioners and unemployed, so we can’t afford this on our own and we are absolutely grateful for what this company is doing for us,” she added.
