Celebrate hope on Sunflower Day
All South Africans are urged to get involved and make a difference.
THE Sunflower Fund invites the nation to join in a celebration of hope as Sunflower Day approached on Friday, 15 September.
They urge all South Africans to get involved and make a difference.
The action is simple: Purchase your TOPE (Tube of Hope) and celebrate Sunflower Day. Funds raised will offer the hope of life to patients with leukaemia and other blood disorders who are in need of a life-saving blood stem cell transplant.
A TOPE is an appealing, trendy and multi-purpose accessory product which can be worn as a headband, mask, scarf, cap or arm band. TOPES will be available at Pick n Pay stores across the country and Namibia, or online at Zando during August and September for R25 each.
The theme of this year’s campaign is “It’s ordinary people who do the most extraordinary things that make a real difference”.
