JUST IN: Crash motorbike breaks in two in Bluff Road
The bike was seen lying on its side in the road, with the front fork and wheel about 10-metres in front of it.
A motorbike rider has been seriously injured in a crash with a car at the intersection of Bluff and Old Mission roads.
Paramedics responded at about 8am this morning (Saturday, 27 January).
The bike was seen lying on its side in the road, with the front fork and wheel about 10-metres in front of it. The bonnet and windscreen of the white car are damaged but the car occupants are uninjured, according to Rescue Care Paramedics which responded to the scene. The biker was stabilised by advanced life support paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital.
