Montclair Seniors Club rocks to the music
We all have choices and the choices we make define our path in life.
MONTCLAIR Senior Citizens Club’s meeting was opened by Dan Cousins of the New Covenant Church with devotions on Thursday, 13 September.
The message was that we all have choices and the choices we make define our path in life.
Dave then welcomed everyone and read out birthday greetings for those with birthdays during the month. A few jokes were told before the raffle prizes were drawn.
After tea and refreshments, Fanie swung into action with his guitar and singing to get everyone tapping their feet and singing along. There were songs from Elvis, Cliff Richard, Buddy Holly and Fats Domino, among others. Songs included Blue Suede Shoes, Please Don’t Tease, That will be the Day, Blueberry Hill, Living Doll, 40 Days and Apache, which all brought back memories.
