
The KwaZulu-Natal Office of the Premier (OTP) has called for police to investigate the discovery of a bullet in its Moses Mabhida premises yesterday (Tuesday, 9 October).
Preliminary investigations indicate the bullet was fired from outside the OTP’s Moses Mabhida building last night while the offices were closed and strayed into the premises.

This matter has now been handed over to the SAPS, who have already responded to the scene. A case has been opened relating to the possible unlawful discharge of a firearm.
At this stage the OTP is unable to provide any further details on the incident and will await the outcome of the investigation.
