Gardeners prepare to mark Natalia’s 34th birthday with a surprise
For this special occasion there will also be an autumn plant sale starting at 9am.
THE April meeting of Natalia Garden Club takes place at the Pigeon Club hall in Tara Road, Bluff at 9.30am.
The club celebrates its 34th birthday this month with a surprise presentation by special guest speaker André ‘The Nature Guy’ Steenkamp.
For this special occasion there will also be an autumn plant sale starting at 9am.
The aim of the club is to promote and encourage the introduction and cultivation of plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables and to advance and improve the art of gardening and floral decoration.
The club welcomes visitors and new members who are interested in gardening and knowing more about plants. The decorative competition is a bowl of red fruit and/ or vegetables and the cultural competition is a head of Pentas flowers in a vase besides the other usual competitions of best bloom or spray/ orchid/ pot plant from your garden.
