Bluff Bowling Club women’s teams fiercely compete in senior singles final

The annual women’s tournament will be played starting on Saturday afternoon, 2 November and continues through Sunday, 3 November.

On Saturday afternoon, 26 October, there were two women’s final matches played and in the senior singles final Daphne Reinhardt defeated Glynis Macrory 21 shots to five to take the crown.

In the women’s point singles final, Bridget White accounted for Deirdre Koekemoer 102-68 to lift the trophy. There was no joker or lotto draws this past week as Friday night, 25 October, saw the successful Gee-Jays evening which was enjoyed by all.

There will be no posted competitions this weekend as the annual women’s tournament will be played starting on Saturday afternoon, 2 November and continues through Sunday, 3 November. The men are asked to come and support the women after the world rugby cup final.
