Wanderers bowlers unbeaten in weekend matches
Sunday, 3 November, sees the club host the ever popular prawn festival.

The annual Westville men’s 4s spring tournament sponsored by Spar took place over the weekend at Westville Bowling Club.
The Durban Wanderers side of Richard Hendicott, Anthony Carr, Jeff Bolt and Robbie Carr remained unbeaten over the two days, winning five games and peeling one game. This ensured them top spot and overall competition winners.
Friday’s various meat pack winners were: lamb pack – Brian Reid, beef – Cave James, pork roast – Rob Philogene, beef roast – Wayne Parkins, chicken pack – Brian Craig, chicken – Maureen Cawthorne.
The R600 snowball was a carry over as Colin Nicholas was not present. The Friday Lotto of R50 was a carry over as no-one predicted the correct three numbers drawn.
Sunday, 3 November, sees the club host the ever popular prawn festival. Samantha’s kitchen will also be offering her popular eisbein special on the same day. Tickets for either option are R100 per person. Saturday, 9 November, sees the Thumpers MC host the Monsters MC blood run. Entrance is R20 and festivities begin at 11am until late. Contact Wendy Arendse on 072-367-8035 for stall bookings.
