Bikers pull up their sleeves for SANBS

When was your last blood donation? Remember, blood stocks get terribly low during the festive season. Make your donation count.

THUMPERS Motorcyclist Club were the proud hosts of another blood run at the Wanderers BC on Saturday, 9 November.

Monsters MC and the Christian Motorcyclist Association were among the invited guests to donate blood to the South African National Blood Services as the festive season nears.

“The aim of the blood drive was not in any way to raise funds, but instead to collect the much-needed blood for KZN. We do a blood drive twice a year, but this year we’ll do one more for the for the KZN Toy Run on Sunday, 1 December. The blood count was 13 for the day and although it isn’t much, we are sure they appreciate every drop for the upcoming festive season,” said organiser, Wendy Arendse.
