Take Action for Shavathon 2020
The theme ‘Hope 2020’ is apt, as participants will be giving ‘Hope’ to cancer survivors and loved ones, by showing solidarity with them in the fight against cancer as they stencil, spray or shave their hair.
INVITE 20 people to join you at CANSA’s national Shavathon on Saturday, 29 February at shopping centres countrywide, and make 2020 count!
The theme ‘Hope 2020’ is apt, as participants will be giving ‘Hope’ to cancer survivors and loved ones, by showing solidarity with them in the fight against cancer as they stencil, spray or shave their hair.
A few venues will be offering events on Sunday, 1 March – and details will be made available on the Shavathon website closer to the time. Adults pay R50 and children under 12 R25 to participate. Funds received go towards CANSA’s care and support programmes for patients, caregivers and loved ones.

To host an event, register and order Shavathon products through the Shavathon eShop at www.shavathon.org.za . Anyone can host an event, it is not limited to workplaces, organisations or schools. The deadline for registration and orders is 21 February. An early bird discount applies if orders are placed by 31 January 2020.
Hosts’ events will take place 2 to 6 March and we encourage you to challenge 20 potential hosts to organise a Shavathon event.
