Police search for suspect following Lansdowne flat shooting
The 42-year-old man was shot by an unknown suspect and rushed off to King Edward VIII Hospital.

A 42-year-old man was shot by an unknown suspect at the Lansdowne flat in Wentworth on Saturday night, 10 April.
Visible policing (Vispol) members attended the scene and were informed that the man who was shot was rushed to hospital where he later died.
“The deceased was shot by an unknown suspect and was taken to King Edward VIII Hospital. It is alleged that the deceased sustained gunshot injuries and succumbed to his injuries after arriving at the hospital,” said communications officer, Captain Mbuso Gumede.
“The deceased was later identified by his brother in hospital. The police in Wentworth appeal to anyone who might have witnessed the shooting to come forward,” added Gumede.

“Anonymity is guaranteed. Let us report crime happening in our communities and be against crime together (ACT),” he added.
