Man wanted for sexual assault in Clairwood
Brighton Beach SAPS detectives are seeking assistance in finding the man in the picture to help solve a case of sexual assault committed in Clairwood.
BRIGHTON Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) detectives are seeking assistance in finding the man in the picture to help solve a case of sexual assault committed on South Coast Road in Clairwood.
SAPS’ provincial spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala said a 40-year-old woman was at her home in Clairwood asleep when she allegedly felt something heavy on top of her. The incident took place on Monday, 8 March.
“She woke up to find an unknown male on top of her. She described him to be dark in complexion, small built with a short fade haircut and spoke in a foreign language. The victim was startled and she managed to push the suspect off her and the suspect fled the scene. A case of sexual assault was opened at Montclair police station for investigation,” she said.
Gwala appeals to anyone who may have information regarding the man in the picture to call the investigating officer Detective-Constable Xulu on 078-620-6792 or report anonymously to CrimeStop on 086-001-0111.
