Spar’s virtual race a success

A total of 57 800 participants took to the streets all over the country to be a part of the first national virtual challenge.

OUTLYING communities took the opportunity to stage their own Spar Women’s Race.

The Saturday, September 4 virtual event invited locals to gather safely and run set routes in their areas.

A total of 57 800 participants took to the streets all over the country to be a part of the first national virtual challenge.

The event invited athletes to run any distance they wanted between 06:00 and 18:00.
