Two sustain serious injury in Yellowwood Park head-on collision

Paramedics responded to the scene on Coedmore Road in Yellowwood Park.

A WOMAN and an elderly man sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision just after 18:00 on Sunday, September 12.

Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene on Coedmore Road in Yellowwood Park. Spokesperson of the emergency service, Kyle van Reenen, said they rushed to the ai of the injured.

“On arrival, an elderly man and woman were found to have sustained serious injuries and were treated and stabilised by emergency care practitioners. They were taken to a nearby hospital,” he said.

The cause of the collision is unknown yet and authorities are investigating.
