Lorraine Stott, a resident committee member, underscores the profound impact of the jumble shop on residents’ lives. “The jumble shop is a lifeline for our residents, offering a range of second-hand goods and clothing at affordable prices, catering to their diverse needs,” Stott expressed.

Highlighting the jumble shop’s pivotal role, Stott elaborated, “Profits from our jumble shop directly support our resident-led committee, funding outings and activities.”

Donations of various items, from clothing and linen to crockery, kitchenware, ornaments, toys and books, are sought. Stott also mentioned, “While furniture storage and sales are limited, we urgently require a fridge for a resident in dire need.”
