T-shirt collection for walk in the wild starts

Those that are taking a walk on the wild side with the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife, can collect their T-Shirts for this year's race.

THE new Walk in the Wild T-shirt is out, just in time for The Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife’s (Crow) big fundraising event on August 30.

People who registered for the race can now pick up their official T-shirts and wristbands. Crow decided to do collection as early as possible to avoid a rush on the day of the event.

Details of collection:

Collection started on Monday (August 17) and runs through Thursday (August 20). Items can be collected at the CROW Education Centre between 10:00 and 14:00. Participants must bring their event ticket when picking up the T-shirt and wristband.

Crow added that early collection means participants can walk straight into the event without waiting in line on the race day.

This year’s walk covers 5km through the Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve. It is a way to enjoy the outdoors while raising money for Crow’s efforts to rescue and care for wild animals. The event aims to bring people together and support Crow’s mission of rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing native wildlife. Every ticket sold directly helps the organisation with its work.
