Manhunt underway on The Bluff for Durban armed robbery suspects

Metro police and security enforcements are searching for suspects who crashed their vehicle on The Bluff while being pursued after an armed robbery in the Durban CBD.

A SEARCH is currently underway for suspects of a Durban armed robbery that fled on foot after crashing their getaway vehicle on The Bluff today (October 24).

Dhevan Govindasamy, spokesperson for PT Alarms Tactical Unit, said the suspects who were being pursued from the Durban CBD had crashed their vehicle by a dead-end staircase on Hollesley Road on the Bluff.

“The suspects fled the car on foot and ran into the bushes,” said Govindasamy.

A search operation by the K9 unit, supported by other local authorities, has begun at the Tara Road wetlands and bushes.

Residents are urged to be observant and report any suspicious activity to local authorities.
