[Video] One man dead following horrific collision on The Bluff
One man has died after a car crashed into a stationary truck on The Bluff. The other man has sustained critical injuries and is in hospital.

A DEADLY crash on Edwin Swales Drive before Bluff Road claimed one life and left another man critically injured early this morning (February 17).

Garrith Jamieson, ALS Paramedics spokesperson, described the scene as total carnage after a car crashed into a stationary truck and became entrapped underneath it. Two men were trapped in the wreckage and in urgent need of the emergency services.
Jamieson said the eThekwini Fire Department worked together with ALS Paramedics to extricate the victims. The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 30s, had sustained severe injuries and the paramedics were unable to assist him, and he was declared dead at the scene.
The passenger, also a man in his 30s, was seriously injured. Jamieson said the paramedics were able to stabilise him before transporting him to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.
The exact circumstances which led to the collision are yet to be established. Metro Police and Brighton Beach Police Station were present to conduct investigations.
