Driver licence centres share September weekend operating dates
Durban South motorists who are looking to renew their licence must take note of operating weekend dates for September.
THE KZN Department of Transport have announced the operational weekend dates for various Drivers Licence Testing Centres (DLTC) in Durban for September. Motorists in the Durban South can rely on the Winklespruit DLTC and Kingsburgh Sizakala Centre as the most viable options.

The Rossburgh DLTC, which is the closest in proximity, will not be operating over any weekend until further notice.
DLTC dates
The Winklespruit/Amanzimtoti DLTC will be open on the weekends of September 5 and 6 and September 19 and 20 from 07:00 -14:00. The Kingsburgh Sizakala Centre Motor Licensing Office will also operate on the same weekends from 07:30-14:00.
Services of the DLTC
- The application and issuing of learners and driver licences.
- Renewal, duplicate and temporary licensing for driver licence codes A, B, EB, C, EC1 and PrDP.
Important information to remember
It is important to note that the Kingsburgh Sizakala Centre only accepts card payments whereas payments made at the DLTC can be either by cash or card. The KZN Department of Transport also remind motorists that all offices will be closed on September 24 to observe Heritage Day.
