Yellowwood Park voters demand change

Durban South voters are optimistic that this year's elections will bring positive change and improvements to their communities.

RESIDENTS of Yellowwood Park have called on the incoming political leadership to turn election campaign promises into tangible improvements.

Voters demanded that government prioritise service delivery and root out criminal activities in their communities.

“I have been living in the area for 12 years, I have noted that there are issues that must be addressed by eThekwini Municipality such as water shortages, cable theft and theft of electricity fuses,” said Joseph.

Another resident, Gilbert Jones, said, “Today’s voting was quicker than the previous elections. I hope my vote will make a difference in reducing rates, and improve service delivery.”
