Brighton Beach SAPS conducting investigation into Clairwood murder
Three unknown men shot indiscriminately in the area, causing the man to be fatally wounded outside his workplace.
BRIGHTON Beach SAPS are investigating a murder that took place on Houghton Road, Clairwood, where a man was shot multiple outside of his home on January 20. Captain Louise Le Roux, communications officer at the Brighton Beach SAPS, said that Clairwood falls under their policing area.
The man was severely injured on arrival after receiving multiple gunshot wounds to the face and upper body. He would later succumb to his injuries. The man allegedly was standing at the entrance gate to his residence, which also served as his workplace, before three unknown men stepped out of a white Polo, opened fire in every direction and then fled the scene.

According to a statement made by Brighton Beach SAPS, “A motive has still not been established.”
