Just in: Truck collision causes traffic delays on Basil February Road

The tanker was travelling down Basil February Road when a car coming from the direction of Wentworth collided with it.

EMERGENCY services are currently at the scene of an accident on Basil February Road in Wentworth, where a light motor vehicle collided with a tanker today (June 6).

Spokesperson for PT Alarms Dhevan Govindasamy said the left lane going towards the old race course is closed.

“We urge drivers using Basil February Road to proceed with caution, as the left late is closed. It is reported that the light motor vehicle travelling from the direction of Wentworth collided with a tanker. Emergency services are currently at the scene, treating passengers for minor injuries,” said Govindasamy.
