Missing person of interest arrested and charged with murder

Renegades Search and Rescue have confirmed the arrest and charge of Cody Poisson, a person of interest in a murder on The Bluff.

CODY Poisson, a missing person of interest, has been arrested and charged with a murder that took place on Marine Drive on the same day that he was last seen (September 20). The arrest followed a co-ordinated effort by a number of police and community support units, after a plea was put out to the public for information on his whereabouts.

Dawn Gounden from Renegades Search and Rescue praised all those who assisted in apprehending Poisson.

“Thanks to everyone for sharing the flyer. A special thanks to the Metro Task Team for exceeding the call of duty, and to fellow Renegades members, Brighton Beach Detective Unit, RTL8 and all other necessary roleplayers. Your support is much appreciated,” said Gounden.

The Brighton Beach Detective Unit commended the swift team response, emphasising the contribution of the community in helping police bring justice to the victims.
