Free fitness holiday programme launched for children in Wentworth

Team Stokes Fitness has launched a holiday wellness programme for the children in Wentworth as a way to beat boredom over the school holiday.

TAARIQ Stokes, a fitness coach from Team Stokes Fitness in Wentworth, is hosting a free children’s fitness holiday programme to provide fun and exercise for the children of Wentworth to enjoy during the school holiday.

The programme, which is ongoing, will continue on:

  • October 9 at Alabama Road park starting 08:00
  • October 10 at Reiger Road park starting at 08:00

Children in the area are encouraged to come along, get active and spend the morning exercising together.

Stokes said the inspiration for hosting the programme is to give children a healthy and safe way to spend their holiday mornings.
