Erika Smith, organiser of the bingo night, said this season’s session drew 13 enthusiastic players who attended to test their luck and enjoy a relaxed social evening out.

“The three major winners of the evening were Carol Carstens, Lorna Close and Brenda Sutton. They had a selection of prizes to choose from, including chocolates, coffee mugs with cappuccino and biscuits, car windscreen visors and notebook with a pen or pencil sets,” said Smith.

Bingo evenings have become a cherished tradition at the club, running strong for the past 10 to 15 years.

“These nights are all about bringing people together. Everyone is welcome to attend, even if you’re not a member of the club. It’s a great way to unwind, meet new people, and have some fun,” said Smith.
