Police urge community to help find missing Merebank man

A 50-year-old man from Merebank was last seen leaving on a bus with others to Suncoast Casino, but has since not returned.

THE Wentworth police are urgently appealing to the public to help locate 50-year-old Logan Govender of Merebank who was reported missing on Saturday (October 11).

Govender was last seen at about 08:00 on Sholapur Road in Merebank, where he boarded a bus with a group of people going to Suncoast Casino in Durban. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Govender is about 1.7m tall, with a grey beard. He was wearing a pink skipper, blue jeans, a dark blue check coat and red and white takkies.

The Wentworth police station has opened a missing persons case. Anyone with information on Govender’s whereabouts should contact Detective Sgt C.B. Mnguni on 031 451 6215 during office hours.
