Attendees were treated to coffee and tea before being treated to the orchestra’s magical music. During the performance, visitors enjoyed the assortment of cakes, sandwiches, and cream-topped scones amid the beautifully arranged flowers and lively banter.

Ronel Lategan, BRRA vice-chairperson, said the event was not just a social occasion but a chance to show the power of the community coming together.

“The motivation behind hosting this event was to foster unity and pride within our The Bluff community and to remind ourselves of what can be achieved when we come together with shared purpose. We wanted to highlight not only the spirit of togetherness but also the endless potential of our suburb as a place for beautiful events, meaningful gatherings and collective progress,” said Lategan.

She added that the afternoon reflected the organisation’s belief that neighbourhood interaction could be fun and rewarding.

“We all deserve a suburb that is well-kept, vibrant and a place we are proud to call home,” she said.

Lategan added that the BRRA firmly believes that community events such as this are of vital importance in unifying residents at every level.

“Regardless of our differences, we all share common ground, a desire for a suburb that is clean, beautiful and thriving,” said Lategan.

The BRRA said this is just the beginning of events that will help foster community bonds and help promote The Bluff as a connected community.
