ALFRED DUMA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY: DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT, PLANNING AND HUMAN SETTLEMENT INVITATION FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS ON AN APPLICATION PREPARED IN TERMS OF THE ALFRED DUMA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY SPATIAL PLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT BY-LAW 2017 Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to the Alfred Duma Local Municipality, in terms of the Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act (Act No.16 of 2013) and Chapter 4 of the Alfred Duma Local Municipality Spatial Planning and Land Use Management By-law 2017. The application is for the following purpose: o Municipality Consent to establish a Shop. `Bottle Store` and Tuck Shop on Portion 2 of the Farm Onbekend No. 1345 GS. Access to the property is gained through the Provincial Road P 32-2. o GIS Site Co-Ordinates: Latitude: -28`12` 21.15` S Longitude: 29`43` 51.57` E A copy of the application and its accompanying documents will be open for inspection by interested members of the public between the office hours of 07h30 to 16h10 Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays) at the Alfred Duma Local Municipality Town Planning Section, 2nd Floor, 29 Keate Street, Ladysmith, 3370. Any person having sufficient interest in the application may lodge written comments with the Development Planning Senior Manager, Mr. SZ Buthelezi, at 29 Keate Street, Ladysmith 3370, or by e-mail to aampembe@alfredduma.gov.za or szbuthelezi@alfredduma.gov.za within 30 days from 17th July 2026 and the closing date for any comments will be 16nd August 2026.
