NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PROCESS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENTS. Notice is hereby given in terms of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, published in Government Listing Notice 1 of 08 December 2014 under sections 24 (5) and 44 of the National Environmental Management Act of 1998 (Act No: 107 of 1998), as per amendments, that Mbeu Trading and Projects (Pty) Ltd proposes to mine for Chrome on Portion of Portion 01 of the farm De Kafferskraal 53 JT, within the Magisterial District of Ehlanzeni under Thaba Chweu Local Municipality in the Mpumalanga Province. DMRE REF: MP 30/5/1/1/3/ 16118 MP. The proposed mining activities will be inclusive of:
•Excavations;
•Opencasts;
•Stockpiling;
•Transporting of mineral to the market. La Mbeu Holdings (Pty) Ltd has been appointed as the Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) to undertake the public participation processes as part of Environmental Management Plan for the proposed projects.
